Kevin Betts Stadium

Blacktown City Council

Cost Benefit Analysis

The Kevin Betts Stadium is managed by Wheelchair Sports NSW and is the home of City of Blacktown Basketball Association.

The stadium hosts numerous community organisations and accommodates basketball, power hockey, wheelchair sports, J-Ball and futsal. A range of programs and services is available to encourage and support participation in sport for people living with disabilities.

Blacktown City Council proposed an expansion and upgrade of the stadium to support growth in disabled sports participation, gender inclusivity, participation by Indigenous Australians as well as support growth in the levels of sporting participation.

Funding was sought under the Greater Sydney Sports Facilities Fund 2019 for the ‘Home of Disability Sport and Inclusion, Kevin Betts Stadium’.
