Bankstown City Centre
Development Feasibility, Infrastructure Funding and Affordable Housing Contributions Analysis
Bankstown is a strategic centre in the Canterbury-Bankstown local government area. It is the principal centre for the LGA and is a beneficiary of significant investment in transport and economic infrastructure.
The City of Canterbury Bankstown prepared and adopted the Bankstown City Centre Masterplan that will guide future land use and development in Bankstown. The Masterplan will ensure the centre can fulfil its economic role in accommodating commercial and business activity, health and education institutions, visitor and tourist accommodation, housing and civic facilities.
What we did
Atlas provided development feasibility advice to assist preparation of the Masterplan and Affordable Housing Contributions Scheme.
A Planning Proposal to amend the planning controls has been reported for submission to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment seeking a Gateway Determination.
