Queen Street and Leumeah Precincts
Development and Revitalisation Strategy
Reimagining Campbelltown is the flagship strategy endorsed by Campbelltown City Council in 2020. Realisation of the vision of the Reimagining Campbelltown Masterplan requires considered investigation into the economic and commercial realities that influence development and place outcomes.
Queen Street is the Campbelltown City Centre’s main street and is the focal point of the CBD. The Masterplan highlighted the importance of revitalising Queen Street and the surrounding precinct to ensure an activated people place. The Leumeah Precinct accommodates sporting and recreational facilities and has the potential to accommodate integrated sporting and entertainment facilities for the region.
Atlas is part of a multi-disciplinary team investigating potential built form and development outcomes of key catalyst projects in Queen Street and Leumeah precincts.
The project is an important step in the implementation of Reimagining Campbelltown, providing Council with understanding of the requirements and thresholds for investment and the potential role of catalyst projects.
